Waiting For Jade Eden

We are waiting for our daughter Jade Eden. She is somewhere in China. We started our process in January 2005. After our "paper chase" our dossier of paperwork was sent to China and we were given the log-in date "LID" of July 25, 2005.

Spring has sprung....toddler time has begun!

Since Jade's 1st b-day her development has been on fast forward. She is walking, feeding herself, off of formula, drinking milk from a sippy cup, saying at least six words and pointing at everything and asking what it is. (her way of saying "what is it?" is "dough?" accompanied with a pointing finger toward the item). Jade went on her 2nd trip to Universal Studios but this time she could go in the area for little one's and participate in the fun instead of just watching from her stroller. On the very rustic jungle gym structure she went up several stairs all on her own. She went through a tube and down a slide...walked through a small dancing water fountain...and ended by collecting foam balls!Jade also had the fun of her 1st Passover, at S.J. and Ed's house where she had her 1st potroast. Then she had her first Easter at Bill and Skip's and had her 1st ham.

The most recent wonderful thing was spending the afternoon with Erin and Lucy, wonderful little girls that arrived here from China in February. Their parents were on the long adoption journey with us. Erin turned 1 year old on Easter Sunday and Lucy will be 4 years old very soon.
