Happy Family....

We took a field trip to see Aunt Beth at her beautiful new home (any excuse to put on a pretty dress!!!!!) Jade met Beth's neighbors and finally got to meet Beth's cat "Mr. Lola." Of course, any cat gets Jade super excited and she says "KA KA KA" and despirately wants to pet it.

On May 17th we went to the Santa Monica Court House for our re-adoption hearing. The Judge signed the order that we are Jade's parents and we can now get a birth certificate with our names on it. Our friends Julia and Bill came along to witnwitness the wonderful event. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on June 4th and reflected on all the wonderful events that have happened in such a short period of time. This week Jade met her big brother and big sister for the firs time! On June 5th Todd's son Geoff arrived for his first visit ever to his dad's home. Boy oh boy - does Jade love her big brother! Then on June 8th Todd's daughter Rachel arrived. We spent Saturday morning at the Sears Portrait Studio getting family pictures taken.

We also took Geoff to see the Craig Fergusson show being taped, thanks to Aunt Beth who also let Jade hang out in her office. Jade is all ready for her career as an executive at CBS! Lastly, we do have sad news. Our dear friend C.W. , the gentleman with the beard holding Jade in our January 17th posting, passed away on June 5th after a long and heroic fight with cancer. He will be missed!
